New leadership and governance
Learning sets
We excel at taking on the challenging 'cross-cutting' issues facing today's managers and leaders. These often demand the most sophisticated and creative responses as well as the special sensitivity required to work in highly complex political environments.
As a result of our experience and training we are ideally placed to provide facilitation support for interdisciplinary/ cross-sector senior management learning sets, particularly comprising civil servants, other public sector managers and independent sector providers.
Networking workshops
Civil servants, policy developers and managers are not always prepared for the 'new rules of engagement' when operating within one or more ecosystems of service provision.
In order for them to be confident and competent, we will support these key staff in understanding the political, constitutional and geographical architecture of their service domains. In each workshop individuals from connected service areas across the UK will explore the political and personal, developing new ways of working across traditional functional boundaries.
Public sector boards
We are experienced in designing and facilitating board development activities, whether to support a particular change project, new governance arrangements or to help boards to work effectively as a team.
We have undertaken assignments for boards in the statutory and not-for-profit sectors as well as non-departmental public bodies.
Knowledge networking
One of the key planks of the modernisation agenda is to create problem-solving groups that transcend traditional silos. Taking a more strategic approach to the resources located in a region, these multi-agency, multi-professional groups are charged with looking at the big picture.
We can help you identify and develop regional partnerships and networks by organising and supporting round-table learning events between regional players, e.g. statutory agencies, NDPBs, service users/ customers, voluntary and community organisations and businesses.
